2008 Beer and Wine FEST

Ok, so I have been a little behind on my blog posting lately. But, I do have a good excuse. I've been extremely busy planning for something great. Mark your calendars for an upcoming event that I am soooooo.... excited about. Saturday May 31st from 12:00-4:00 come join the fun at the Beer and Wine Fest at Christina's Collectibles in Cedar Point. There will be some really talented local vender's. Christina and Erica next door have teamed up to plan what I know will be an awesome event.

I'll also have a tent set up displaying some of my work and doing a drawing for some free give aways. Lot's of fun, great music, yummy food, refreshing beverages and some very talented vender's. Don't miss it. Look forward to seeing you there and so excited to see the outcome of this event. I know it's going to be a great success!!!!!!!

I'm heading out of town today for Ellen's brothers wedding, that I'm so excited about doing with Leslie Ann Mills. So, with that said, I'll be back next week with some exciting new post.

Have a great Memorial Day weekend!

Oh, for any design needs, please contact Phillip. He is responsible for the awesome beer and wine fest logo. His email is pographics@earthlink.net.

Dana & Wayne

This was such an awesome event. I had a great time working with Ellen on this one. I felt honored. It started on Friday with the Rehearsal Dinner and pictures on the beach in their Chinese attire. Then on Saturday morning we all met at the beach at 6:00AM(that was Early) for Sunrise Portraits in their traditional attire. It was very important to get that beautiful soft light that we would not of been able to get at 10:00 in the morning. That morning was so beautiful. To finish off the day, Dana and Wayne were married at 10:00am and had their reception directly after. Enjoy a few of my many many favorites in no particular order.

Wednesday, May 14, 2008

Please forgive me for not posting for a while. This week has been busy. I've been working on getting some pictures ready from the TWO weddings from this past weekend. I'll be posting about both of those later on this week. For now, I thought I'd share a random image for you. My Lilly. My first bloom. This lilly came back from last year. It grew and looks like it's going to have many beautiful blooms. Enjoy. I also wanted to let you know, that I'm going to try my best to post at least one random image a week. Throughout each week, I'm going to keep my eyes open for things that are unique and special in my eyes. This time it happened to be right in my back yard.

Jamie and Nick, Engagement at Fort Macon

What an Adventure. I must say this was one of my most exciting engagement sessions yet. Meet Jamie and Nick. They are truly and awesome couple. I'm soooo... excited to do their wedding in June. To start, the weather was a little tricky. It rained, but just a little. One of the gates closed at 7:00 and we still needed an outfit change and pictures on the beach. Jeremy usually doesn't go with me on my shoots, but I was so thankful he was at this one. He was our taxi. The parking lot that stayed open until 8:00 was about 2 miles from the rocks. Our mission was to get pictures by the rocks. We succeeded, but got ran off by the security guard. We got a little wet, I fell up a dune. I'm clumsy, I know. Through it all, it was a great time, and I promise Jamie and Nick, I won't put you through all that on your wedding day. Hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.

One of my MOST favorites. I love Jamie's expression :)

Part of the adventure...

Even after we were told to leave by the ever so pleasant :) security guard, we still found time for a few more fun shots.

Fagan & James

This was such an awesome wedding. It took place in Asheville, NC. I felt so blessed to be invited to do this wedding with Ellen LeRoy. Fagan & James were such a sweet couple. It did rain right after the ceremony, but everyone made the best of it. Hope you enjoy a few of my favorites.

I love the expression on both Fagan and her Dads face as they are walking down the isle. Fagan was looking at the rain clouds.
